Californication Girls

Then & Now – Television Totty Madeline Zima

by ruben17 on Feb.03, 2010, under Californication Girls

then Madeline Zima Remember that baby face and ever-present nasally voice? That’s Grace Sheffield, who looked cute and dropped some nice one-liners as she trailed behind the awful Fran Drescher in ‘The Nanny’ from 1993 to 1999. Well, at least she did in the one episode of that crock that I managed to endure!

And here she is now doing Kubrick’s Lolita!! … My hasn’t she grown!

Yap, Maddy’s really ditched the schoolgirl uniform and cutesy kid schtick to become a piece of hot, stacked, jailbait called Mia Lewis who’s hell-bent on either mounting or destroying poor Hank Moody (played by so-called ’sex addict’ David Duchovny) in Showtime’s wonderful “Californication.”

She also therein spends time claiming to have written a novel with the great title “F*cking and Punching”! (coincidentally the working title of a new film based on the Rihanna and Chris Brown relationship!)

Although she plays a seventeen year old Mia, Zima’s actually 24! (or what, in Hollywood, is known as ‘Middle Aged’!)

Eva Amurri

by ruben17 on Jan.06, 2010, under Californication Girls

eva amurri ” I have such a respect now for women who do pole dancing. It’s very athletic. I mean, they’re athletes! It was so hard and so painful. I had so many bruises.”

Eva Maria Livia Amurri hasn’t done a huge amount to get herself known in the UK. She has, however, got herself extremely well known in America, primarily by appearing in the David Duchovny fronted TV show Californication. She plays Jackie, a character who has done one of the best TV-strips-by-someone-who’s-not-a-professional-stripper performances of all time. She’s a born and bred New Yorker, which means she’s a whole load cooler than you already.

Eva Amurri is the daughter of actress Susan Sarandon and director Franco Amurri. This makes her a bit Welsh, a bit Italian and a bit American. She once got stealing cakes and cookies from a film set and taking them home. We don’t know what film it was. Or what kind of cookies they were. She starred in Friends in 1994 in the episode called The One With Joey’s Brain.

Mia

by ruben17 on Feb.02, 2009, under Californication Girls, Cast, Crews & Characters

Mia Played by: Madeline Zima

Occupation: High school student at an all-girls private school

Signature look: Classy, sophisticated, and trendy. Her style makes her appear to be older than she actually is.

Personality: Mia is mischievious and appears to be pure evil. However, she does have her moments (i.e. being a good almost step-sister to Becca).

Mia’s backstory: Mia Gross is a sixteen year old girl from southern California. Her mother obviously died and she was left with her father, Bill, who was obviously never in touch with his emotions to begin with. Bill generally ignores her and as a result, Mia seeks a father figure elsewhere, namely, in the unlikely character of Hank Moody.

VIRTUES AND VICES

Moral values: Apparently none. But deep down Mia has a sense of right and wrong.

Vices(s): Sleeping with older men (so far only Hank), blackmailing Hank, drinking, and overdosing on pills.

Regret(s): Losing her mother.

Personal Goal(s): To mooch off Hank as much as possible.
